Screen Studio for Windows: what to use instead.

Screen Studio made automatic zooms and smooth cursors popular for product demos, but it only runs on macOS. If you are on Windows, here is what to look for and which apps do the same job.

Is there a Windows version of Screen Studio?

No. Screen Studio is a macOS app. On Windows you need a different recorder that adds the same kind of polish: zooms that follow your clicks, a smooth cursor and a framed, presentation-ready look.

OBS Studio + a video editorNoFree and powerful for recording, but zooms are added by hand with keyframes in an editor.

Features and prices change, so check each app's own site before you decide. We make CyanFocus, so we're biased: try two or three with the same short recording and keep the one whose result you like best.

Why we built CyanFocus

We wanted Screen Studio-style demos on Windows without spending an hour on keyframes for a two-minute video. CyanFocus records your software, turns every click into a smooth zoom, and lets you fix anything on a simple timeline.

Try CyanFocus free. Record on Windows and every click becomes a smooth zoom you can edit. Free, with a small watermark; Pro removes it.
